Overton Loyd (b. 1954)

Fine Artist, Cartoonist, Illustrator, Animator, Costume Designer, Television Personality
Born April 20, 1954, Detroit, Michigan

Overton Loyd is most well known for covers and other art for record albums by Parliament (Funkentelechy Vs. the Placebo Syndrome, 1977; Gloryhallastoopid (Or Pin the Tail on the Funky), 1979; Motor Booty Affair, 1979) and Bootsy's Rubber Band (This Boot Is Made for Fonk-N, 1979). He has also done fine art, cartooning, animation art, and costume design. His lone illustration for Weird Tales appeared in the Fall 1984 issue of the magazine.
