Overton Loyd is most well known for covers and other art for record albums by Parliament (Funkentelechy Vs. the Placebo Syndrome, 1977; Gloryhallastoopid (Or Pin the Tail on the Funky), 1979; Motor Booty Affair, 1979) and Bootsy's Rubber Band (This Boot Is Made for Fonk-N, 1979). He has also done fine art, cartooning, animation art, and costume design. His lone illustration for Weird Tales appeared in the Fall 1984 issue of the magazine.
